Question 1

Is it really free for buyers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You never pay us a commission. The dealer pays a flat 1% success fee only when the sale closes. The only money you put in is the ₹1,000 inspection booking amount, and that is adjusted against the car price — or refunded.

Question 2

What is the ₹1,000 booking amount?

Accepted Answer

It books a physical inspection at the dealer's lot. It is adjusted against the price of the car you buy, and refunded in full if the car fails inspection or you don't buy within 30 days. It exists so dealers know you're a serious buyer.

Question 3

What if the dealer refuses an inspection?

Accepted Answer

That is itself a verdict. We tell you, and we find you another car.

Question 4

Do you inspect cars at Spinny / Cars24 / Big Boy Toyz / any showroom?

Accepted Answer

Yes — any dealer. Organised platforms, independent showrooms, Instagram sellers, dealer websites, classified listings. If someone is selling the car, we'll go and look at it.

Question 5

Which cars do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Pre-owned luxury cars from about ₹20L upwards: Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Volvo, Lexus, Jaguar, Mini, and cars like the Toyota Land Cruiser and Vellfire.

Question 6

Which areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Delhi NCR — Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.

Question 7

How fast is it?

Accepted Answer

WhatsApp reply in 15 minutes during 9am–9pm. Free desk check within 4 hours. Inspector on-site usually within 24 hours, with a same-day report and verdict.

Question 8

What's in the report?

Accepted Answer

A verdict (CLEAR / CAUTION / WALK AWAY), paint-depth readings for every panel, structure and underbody, OBD/ECU codes and recorded kilometres, suspension, brakes and tyre measurements, interior and feature checks, a documents checklist, 40+ photos, a road-test note, a costed list of what needs fixing, and our recommended offer.

Question 9

Do you help with finance and insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want it. We coordinate with lenders and insurers and compare what you're offered. We don't take a cut from them, and you're free to use your own bank.

Question 10

What about RC transfer?

Accepted Answer

We verify every document before payment and follow up on the RC transfer, first service and warranty transfer for 30 days after delivery.

Question 11

Do you sell cars yourselves?

Accepted Answer

No. We never own the car. FineCars, a group company, is a partner dealer and is treated exactly like every other dealer — and that relationship is disclosed on any report involving it.

Question 12

Can I use you for a private seller's car?

Accepted Answer

Yes — inspection only, and in that case the buyer pays ₹4,999. There's no dealer to pay the success fee, so the inspection is charged directly.

Straight answers, no small print.
